Florida Man Charged With Killing, Cooking Family Dog

TAMPA, Florida -- Police have charged a Tampa, Florida man for allegedly killing and cooking his family dog.

Police say that 25-year-old Thomas Elliot Huggins killed the five-to-six-month-old dog by strangling it at approximately 8 a.m. on Tuesday.  After the dog was deceased, Huggins then allegedly cut up the dog into quarters and stored it in the freezer for future meals.

Later that same day around 11 p.m., a family member called police.  When Tampa Police officers arrived, they found the dog’s ribs cooked in a pot on the stove and the dog’s head was in the garbage.

Huggins was taken into custody and charged with the inhumane and cruel killing of the dog. Animal Control responded and took possession of the remains.

Huggins was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail and bond was set at $2,000.

PAULA DEEN GETS NEW JOB OFFER TO BE IN PORN?!

Disgraced chef Paula Deen needs a job ... and she's a mom ... so the good people who run a MILF-based porn site put 2-and-2 together and have offered her a SIX-FIGURE GIG.

A website called PureMature.com fired off a letter this week ... offering Paula a place in their company ... in light of her N-word controversy, which has lost her MILLIONS in sponsorships.

In the letter, PM starts by explaining to Paula she's a MILF -- a hot mom over the age of 65 who men would like to (you know). It continues with the job offer adding, "Full figured of thin, arthritic or diabetic -- you embody our perfect spokesperson."

As for compensation, PureMature says it's willing to offer her "6 figures for very little work" ... and NO nudity is required. Phew.

Fat Joe Sentenced to Prison for Failing to Pay Taxes

The rapper Fat Joe was sentenced to four months in prison on Monday in federal court in Newark for failing to pay his taxes, the United States Attorney’s office for New Jersey said.

Fat Joe, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, pleaded guilty in December to failing to pay taxes on more than $1 million of income he earned between 2007 and 2010.

Mr. Cartagena, 42, of the South Bronx, came from the bruising New York City hip-hop scene in the early-’90s and developed a reputation as a workmanlike rapper with heart, breaking out with the song “Flow Joe” in 1993. His hits include “Lean Back,” which topped the Billboard singles chart 2004, and “What’s Luv,” which reached No. 2 on the chart in 2001.

Federal prosecutors said he failed to pay about $700,000 in taxes on earnings of $3.3 million between 2007 and 2010. Though he lives in Miami Beach, Mr. Cartagena was prosecuted in New Jersey because he owns corporations based in Somerville from which he received income, including Terror Squad Productions Inc. and Miramar Music Touring Inc.

Federal authorities in New Jersey have been going after musicians on tax evasion charges in recent months. Lauryn Hill was sentenced to three months in prison in early May for failing to pay taxes on about $1.8 million. Two weeks later, the Internal Revenue Service placed a lien on property belonging to Mary J. Blige and her husband, charging they owed $3.4 million in back taxes.

Sex at McD's gets women kicked out, jumped

Two women who were kicked out of the McDonald's on 69th Street in Upper Darby Wednesday afternoon for engaging in sexual relations in the bathroom were jumped by a group of customers once they exited the restaurant, according to police.

Shortly before 5 p.m. a group of customers went to the manager of the McDonald's and told her that there were two women engaging in sex in the restaurant's second-floor bathroom, said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood.

"Everybody should do their own thing but doing it at 5 o'clock in the afternoon in a McDonald's bathroom - whether you're female and female, female and male or male and male - what the f---?"

The manager went to the bathroom and threw the women out of the restaurant, police said. Shortly thereafter, the group of seven or eight people who had complained about the women ran outside and began assaulting the couple, Chitwood said.

One of the women was stabbed in the shoulder with an unknown object by a female in the attacking group who appeared to be around 40 years old and had two children with her, police said.

As police arrived, the crowd scattered. Officers had to convince the stabbing victim to seek medical assistance at a hospital, where she was treated for her injuries and released. The couple said that their attackers used derogatory language against them during the beating.

Police are in the process of obtaining surveillance footage from the McDonald's to determine the identity of the attackers.

TMZ calls it "weird," and notes the "edit after almost every sentence.'

The Food Network host and celeb chef, who canceled an appearance on the Today show this morning at the last minute, goes on to say,"I want to apologize to everybody for the wrong that I've done. I want to learn and grow from this."

Deen adds, "Inappropriate, hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable. I've made plenty of mistakes along the way, but I beg you, my children, my team, my fans, my partners – I beg for your forgiveness. Please forgive me for the mistakes that I've made."

Intoxicated passengers allow 10-year-old to drive

KENNER, La. -- Police arrested two intoxicated women who allowed a 10-year-old child to drive a vehicle on the Interstate-10 Wednesday, according to Sgt. Brian McGreggor, a Kenner Police spokesman.

According to a Kenner police department news release, Brenda Byrd and Sheila Joiner, both of Kenner, were found intoxicated in a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe after authorities received calls reporting a slow-moving vehicle swerving in and out of the travel lane on the Interstate-10 West in Kenner.

Officers found the Tahoe after it exited at Williams Boulevard and struck a curb while turning on 31st Street, police said. Both woman admitted to instructing the 10-year-old to drive the vehicle due to their intoxication level.

Kenner Police officers arrested Byrd and Joiner, charging them with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle. Both remain in custody as of Wednesday with no set bond.

The 10-year-old and a 15-year-old passenger were placed in protective custody and later released to family members.

New Electronic License Plates Could Be Controlled By DMV, Law Enforcement Agencies

.Now that Big Brother is all up in your cell phone and your email, why not your car, too?

Under a proposal reportedly being considered in South Carolina, metal license plates could be swapped out for electronic ones that would give the DMV or law enforcement agencies the power to broadcast messages directly onto the back of cars.

Such messages could read "Uninsured" or "Suspended" for people who are driving without insurance, or "Stolen" in cases of auto theft.

"We actually put that wording on the license plate across the top and, depending on how the state wants it, it could be in bright red, and we can actually [have the plate] flashing as it goes down the road," Brian Bannister, the co-founder of Compliance Innovations, the company that developed the technology, told CBS local affiliate WSPA-TV.

Bannister sought to reassure WSPA that the plates would not permit the government to track drivers -- unless authorities obtained three court orders: one for his company, one for the DMV and one for the individual carrier.

But the e-plates could come with a few advantages, too.

On its website, Compliance Innovations claims that the digital plates will compel insurance companies to lower premiums for customers, on the theory that the new system will keep uninsured drivers off the road.

The company also says the technology will increase highway safety and decrease DMV walk-ins (something we can certainly get behind.)

If this all sounds like a bad idea, just be thankful the plates don't seem to have flashing neon ads on them -- yet.

Hefty Rapper Jelly Roll's Waffle House Obsession Got Him Sued

Casual dining food chain Waffle House has been a part of Hip-Hop lore for some time now. With its deep southern roots, it's natural that rappers from the region praise the greasy spoon. One rapper, however, got into some legal hot water after his obsession with Waffle House caught the unwelcome attention of the chain's attorneys.
Weighing 450 pounds, Antioch, Tenn. rapper Jelly Roll has been an avid supporter of Waffle House. Sitting down for an exclusive interview with Gawker, the 28-year-old ex-drug dealer revealed that his mixtape, Whiskey, Weed & Waffle House, took one too many liberties in using the company's images and logo. A legal team from Waffle House sent a cease and desist letter for Jelly Roll's infringement of the logo, which shocked the rapper.
From Gawker:
Being a loyal customer, he was initially flattered by the attention. “I was calling everybody, like, ‘We're popular! Waffle House is trying to sue us!'” But then he visited his lawyer. “He was like”—here Jelly adopted a solemn tone—“This is very serious. Waffle House really sues people. I was like, ‘F-ck, you're kidding me!'” If only he'd thought of this approach first. “I'm 450 pounds—I should have sued Waffle House 10 years ago! Do you know how many All-Star Breakfasts I bought in my life? I might've stopped at 330!”
Jelly Roll's affinity for the All-Star Breakfast aside, he's not the first rapper to profess their love for the quick-fix dining spot. Jay-Z, Gucci Mane, Yelawolf, 2 Chainz and countless others have sung Waffle House's praises.  Although the cease and desist put some of Jelly Roll's plans on hold, he's looking to release a new project with fellow Tennessean Lil' Wyte this summer.

High school hall monitor busted in bed with student, 17, by her father

A 41-year-old Minneapolis man who was an employee at Robbinsdale Cooper High School is accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old student there, according to charges filed Tuesday by the Hennepin County Attorney.

Tajreed Edward Rich was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct in connection with the incident, which happened between May and June 7.

According to the charges, Robbinsdale Police were called to a residence on Friday, June 7, on a report of a sexual assault. When authorities arrived, they learned that the father of a 17-year-old girl had come home unexpectedly at about 3 p.m. that day. The man heard noises from the victim’s bedroom and went upstairs.

The door to the victim’s room was open, and the girl was lying naked on her bed, the complaint states. A man later identified as Rich was also naked and standing over the girl. The victim’s father told police he recognized Rich as a man who worked at Cooper High School.

The girl told police she had had sex with Rich on two occasions, once a couple weeks back and the most recent on June 7. The victim’s father walked into the room shortly after the two finished having sex, according to the complaint.

Officers later learned Rich was a hall monitor at Cooper High School, and was on the coaching staff of the football team. The victim was a student at Cooper High School, the complaint states.

Rich admitted to police in an interview that he engaged in sexual activity with the victim on at least two occasions. He also described the victim to police as a “vulnerable student” and said he knew better than to have a sexual relationship with her.

If convicted, Rich faces up to 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.

2 Chainz Robbed At Gunpoint, San Francisco Police Now Confirm

UPDATE (4 p.m. EST, June 10): It turns out that rapper 2 Chainz was, in fact, the victim of a robbery at gunpoint Sunday afternoon (June 9) in San Francisco, the San Francisco Police Department now confirms to Radio.com.

This information conflicts with a report obtained by Radio.com earlier today (June 10), in which police spokesman Dennis Toomer stated that San Francisco police believed 2 Chainz had not been the victim of the robbery; rather, it had been a member of his entourage (“He was not the victim of a robbery,” he said this morning. “He was there, but he wasn’t the victim.”).

Several hours later, when Radio.com placed a follow-up call to SFPD, Toomer told Radio.com that the information had been correct at the time of the original call, but later in the morning, investigators informed him that the victim was actually 2 Chainz.

According to Toomer, the rapper was walking with his entourage in the 800 block of Howard Street at about 4:30 p.m. when they were approached by a suspect carrying a handgun, who fired a gunshot. While most of the group scattered, 2 Chainz reportedly fell to the ground and was approached by the suspect, “who robbed him and fled the scene.”

Toomer said the rapper was robbed of his wallet, which contained credit cards and cash money, as well as a cell phone.

Police also confirmed that those involved “are being very uncooperative,” and that the suspect has been neither located nor identified.

As of this afternoon, the rapper is now fanning the rumors on Twitter. His comments seem to suggest that he wasn’t held up, but there’s also a sense of ambiguity to his comments. 2 Chainz hasn’t issued any sort of formal statement via his reps… yet. More on this as the parties involved get their stories straight.

Miguel's leg drop victim possible brain damage

The girl who took Miguel's leg drop to the head at the Billboard Music Awards last month suffered serious trauma -- symptoms consistent with brain damage, the victim's lawyer tells TMZ.

As you'll recall ... Miguel took a flying, theatrical leap across the stage and landed with thunderous force on Khyati Shah's head.

Vip Bhola, Shah's lawyer, says, "Some of the difficulties she's experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury."

Bhola says BMA responded to the accident with a pathetic gesture -- an ice pack designed to soothe a bruised elbow. The attorney insists his client should have been rushed to the hospital.

Bhola tells us his client is waiting for test results from a neurologist. When the results are in -- sometime next week -- Khyati will decide if a lawsuit is in the cards.

Calls to Miguel and the BMA producers were not returned.

Mom Dies After Swallowing Her Son's Drugs

A 70-year-old Spanish woman died Monday after swallowing her drug dealer sons' stash in a desperate bid to stop them from being arrested.

The senior citizen wolfed down the narcotics after cops pulled over the car she was in with her two children — ages 37 and 43 — at 2:40 a.m. near Alcala de la Selva in Aragon.

Officers noticed she looked "slightly out of it" and took her to a medical center in nearby Teruel.

But the woman, identified only as CCC, died of a heart attack soon afterward.

Her death, however, turned out to be in vain as police went on to search the homes of her children, identified as VFC and RFC, and discovered cocaine and marijuana.

The pair, suspected drug traffickers, was arrested, reports El Heraldo.

An autopsy to find out what kind of drug she ingested is scheduled for later this week.

Pictures reveal Maryland teacher having sex with family dog

A Maryland teacher has been busted for bestiality after sick footage emerged of her having sex with her family's pet dog, police said.

Stephanie Mikles, 45, allegedly engaged in a variety of sexual acts with the canine over a month-long period in August 2008.

But she was only arrested earlier this year after child advocacy center officers searched her home on an unrelated matter and found pictures and video of the disgusting acts.

Mikles, who looks after special needs students for Hartford County School District, was charged with unnatural or perverted sexual practice.

She denies the allegations and has been suspended from her job pending the outcome of the case.

If convicted, she faces up to 10 years in prison and a $1,000 fine. The dog, reports ABC2, is still living with the family.

Mikles is out of jail on $5,000 bond.

Riff Raff Is Banned From Attending Summer Jam

A few days ago, Riff Raff sat down for a tense interview with Hot 97's Ebro. Riff Raff went off on a series of tweets afterward that further showed how uncomfortable he was with the whole situation.

It looks like the tension between Riff Raff and Hot 97 won't be getting remedied for a while. The Houston rapper tweeted Hot 97 banned him from attending Summer Jam XX.

FBI busted child porn site, then ran it for 2 weeks to catch users

The FBI busted a child pornography service last year — and then ran the sleazy site itself for two weeks, a report said this week.
Federal investigators said they kept the Internet porn service operating in November to identify more than 5,000 customers, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported Tuesday, citing court records.
The sicko site, which showed images of children being raped and otherwise abused, was based in Nebraska. The Washington paper found out about it when a Seattle-based FBI agent described the unorthodox scheme in court.
The agent argued the FBI needed to keep the site running to hunt down its customers. But the strategy allowed the pedophiles to continue sharing and looking at images of children.
"Jesus I would enjoy hurting that child," one customer wrote in a chat thread on the site.

Jermaine Dupri Sued for $2 million, May Have to Sell So So Def Music

(AllHipHop News) Jermaine Dupri may have just celebrated the 20th Anniversary of So So Def but he’s at risk of losing some of over a debt.
In 2010, Dupri took out an $4.8 million loan from SunTrust Bank. He’s since paid more than half of it back but according to a lawsuit brought on by SunTrust the checks stopped coming. Now Dupri is apparently on the hook for $2 million.
In order to pay off the balance Dupri may have to sell copyrights and royalties to the many songs his label owns from artists like Kriss Kross, Da Brat, Bow Wow and Xscape.
This isn’t the first time Dupri has been in the red.  Earlier this year he paid off a $3 million tax lien and had to save his Atlanta mansion from foreclosure twice.
